Spruce and larch laminated profiles are stable, durable, and sustainable – the ideal choice for wooden windows and doors.
Laminated timber is a modern material for manufacturing windows and doors, as it combines the natural benefits of wood with the advantages of gluing technology. At Centernorma, we primarily use spruce and larch from Slovenian forests, which have proven to be the most suitable wood species for our laminated profiles.
Spruce – light, insulating, and stable
Spruce wood, thanks to its light weight and uniform structure, is ideal for producing laminated profiles. During the lamination process, any defects (such as knots or cracks) are removed, creating stable profiles that do not warp or shrink. Spruce laminated profiles provide excellent thermal insulation, making them especially suitable for energy-efficient windows and doors.
Larch – durable and weather-resistant
Larch wood contains more resin and has a denser structure, giving it natural resistance to moisture and changing weather conditions. Larch laminated profiles are therefore ideal for exterior windows and doors exposed to rain, snow, and sunlight. In addition to its durability, larch offers a distinctive, warm appearance that gives the products a premium and elegant look.
