The installation of the new scanning system by SMARTI has been featured in the renowned industry magazine HOLZKURIER.
The article highlights the implementation of the SMARTI iCon Scanner system in our production process, representing an important step towards the digitalization of production and optimization of cross-cutting.
Advanced technology for greater efficiency
The iCon Scanner system is based on advanced 4-sided wood scanning, using artificial intelligence and machine vision to detect defects and enable flexible grading and optimized cutting according to production goals.
In combination with iCon Feeders, the system also controls two cross-cut saws, enabling improved material flow, higher raw material utilization, and increased production efficiency.

The implementation of the system represents a significant upgrade of our production processes and confirms our commitment to introducing modern technologies and improving industrial efficiency.
