Our products result from a carefully planned production process based on precise wood selection, modern technology, and years of experience in demanding industrial environments. We offer a wide range of glued laminated beams and battens suitable for diverse construction purposes – from simple components to more technically complex multilayer solutions.
All our products comply with international quality standards and sustainable forest management, as confirmed by our certifications.
Glued laminated profiles are multilayer structural elements made from precisely dried and processed wood, ensuring top dimensional stability, high load capacity, and reduced deformation risk.
Due to these properties, they are indispensable in the production of wooden windows, doors, and other elements where precision and durability are key.

Glued laminated timber is stronger than solid wood of the same dimensions, as the lamellas distribute loads evenly.
By gluing and drying individual lamellas, laminated timber allows the production of long elements that retain their shape and are less prone to warping, twisting, or expansion than solid wood.
Due to the lamination process, we can produce elements of various dimensions and shapes precisely adapted to the specific project requirements. Products can be adjusted to desired thicknesses, widths, and lengths.
We use eco-friendly water-based adhesives, and in the event of fire, laminated timber burns more slowly and predictably, ensuring high fire safety.
During production, knots, cracks, resin pockets, and other defects are removed, resulting in higher final product quality.
Laminated timber has a uniform and clean appearance without cracks or prominent knots, which is particularly important for visible structures.
Wooden battens represent a basic yet extremely versatile element. They are used in interior cladding, furniture making, substructures, and many other elements where easy processing, dimensional accuracy, and the natural look of wood are essential.

Our processes are supported by state-of-the-art Weinig technology, robotics, and an advanced AI scanner ensuring optimal cutting and maximum material utilization. We fully control all phases, from drying, planing, and gluing to final finishing according to customer wishes. We also focus on sustainability – from energy self-sufficiency with pellets and solar power to the use of environmentally friendly adhesives. Through digitalized monitoring and our own warehouse, we ensure full traceability and consistent quality of final products.
We operate with the environment in mind. We use locally sourced Slovenian wood, reduce emissions through shorter transport routes, and ensure resource and energy-efficient production.
We adapt quickly to customer needs. We produce individual custom-made elements or larger series for demanding projects. The dimensions and profile designs are tailored to the client’s specific requirements
Innovation is not our goal – it is our standard. With modern equipment, digital supervision, and in-house development, we create advanced solutions for all types of projects, from simple to highly demanding ones.
Every product is the result of precise workmanship. Modern equipment, technical expertise, and a feel for wood ensure top quality that meets even the most demanding standards.
Centernorma is a family company with more than 30 years of tradition in the wood industry. From a small workshop, we have grown into a modern facility for the production of glued laminated wooden profiles.
With our own production, advanced technology, and commitment to quality, we are present both domestically and internationally. We believe in long-term partnerships, respect for nature, and wood as a timeless material of the future.
SPRUCE
Spruce wood is light-colored, lightweight, and easy to process, making it an excellent choice for producing high-quality glued laminated timber. Spruce glulam offers good thermal insulation, allows for precise profile shaping, and is suitable for interior elements.
LARCH
Larch wood is denser, harder, and naturally resistant to moisture, weather, and pests. Due to its stability and long lifespan, larch glulam is ideal for outer layers. Its reddish-brown color gives the final product a refined and natural look.
SPRUCE
Spruce battens are uniform, light in color and weight, and easy to work with. Due to their consistent structure and versatile use, they are an excellent choice for interior paneling, decorative trims, or elements not directly exposed to moisture.
LARCH
Larch battens are denser, harder, and more resistant to external influences. Thanks to their stability and long service life, they are ideal for exterior battens or structural elements that must retain their shape and strength even under demanding conditions. Their reddish-brown color gives the battens a prestigious and natural appearance.
D LAYER
Long lamella without finger joint.
K LAYER
Lamella made of several pieces, joined with a finger joint.
